| What it takes to become a Cub Scout at Pack 252
-Boys or girls must be in Kindergarten through 5th grade to join Cub Scouts per Boy Scouts of America. -Each Cub Scout has to earn the Bobcat Patch with the den they join. -Each Cub Scout needs to wear the proper uniform. 1. Uniform shirt including patches. 2. Pants, jeans, or shorts with belt loops. 3. Den neckerchief with slide. Optional Items 1. Den hat. 2. One inch wide belt used for belt loops earned by Scouts. -Each Scout is required to have a den book. -Uniform and Den Book can be purchased at the Scout Shop at Camp Miakonda or Woodville Surplus in Oregon. -Lions and Tigers are required to have an adult partner attend all Den meetings and Pack meetings. -Girls are required to be in separate but equal dens and have one adult female registered leader with them at all times.
